Qurbaani

Q: Is it permissible to slaughter a sheep whose tail is cut. They say it was cut due to medical reasons.

Q: Every year, on the days of qurbaani, my father appoints another person to carry out the slaughtering of a cow on our behalf (we are 4 members as a family). This is done every year with the knowledge of all the members.

1. Is this method correct?

2. Despite having the knowledge of it, is it compulsory for me to give my consent verbally?

Q: Can we do Qurbani (sacrifice) for a person who passed away? 

Q: Is qurbani on the day of eidul adha farz, wajib, sunnut or mustahab?

Q: My question is that to whom we should perform qurbani in the case of a cow and how many shares. Is it necessary to take everyone's name?

Q: I would like to sacrifice a sheep for qurbani this year. Is it necessary for me to be present at the sacrifice and to touch the animal prior to sacrifice? Is it sufficient for me to make the intention and ask my father to complete the qurbani on my behalf?

Q: For nafl qurbani, can we make multiple intentions, i.e. can I make intentions for more than one person?

Q: How many minimum shares can a cow have? Can we give five shares in a cow ?

Q: Can we slaughter a sheep (for qurbani) in the name of my deceased parents and in the name of Nabi Muhammad (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam)?
