Sometimes I want to go to pray salah with the jamaat but due to the weather my mother stops me fearing that I will become ill. Q: Is it correct to surmise that young scholars using microphone for Salah and allowing their Salah to be broadcast in the homes for ladies to hear may be motivated by show, particularly in Fajr where the number of saffs are few and there appears to be no obvious need for microphone? If not show, what else could a reasonable rationale be?

Q: My parents sometimes ask me to do some work for them and it happens to be at the same time as jamaat salaat at the Masjid. If I do their work, I will miss salaat with jamaat and if I go to the Masjid, I can't do their work because it had to be done at that time. Should I do their work and miss jamaat or give preference to jamaat?
