Jamaat Salaah and Imaamat

Q: How should na-baaligh children be arranged in the suffs of the Masjid during Salaah?

Q: My mother does not want me to go to the Masjid for Maghrib and Esha Salaah. Though we only live 15-20 minutes from the nearest Masjid, our house is in a somewhat isolated area. So my mother fears me being hijacked or something similar. Hijackings etc. are common at these times and in our area, so the fear of my mother is valid. However, I do not feel it is so dire. But I could be wrong. Though I also want to perform all my Salaah in the Masjid Insha-Allah. Please advise if I have to follow this command of my mother and thus perform Maghrib and Isha Salaah at home?

Q: If the time for Fajr salaah in the masjid /musallah is up, and there is only the muazzin and imam present, but someone arrives just then but still needs to make wudhu and read sunnats. Should the muazzin stand behind the imam because they know there is another musallee that will join the salaah later, or should he stand on the right of the imam and when the musallee comes to join then move back to the saff?

Q: When leading the salaah, what should one do when his wudhu breaks? Must the salaah be broken, or is there a way for the congregation to continue?

Q:

1. If I miss the first rakaat of jammat after the Imam makes salaam, when I stand to complete the salaah do I read Surah Fatiha or first the thanaa then Surah Fatiha?

2. If I join the Imaam few minutes after he says takbeer, do I still read my thanaa or just lift my hands an keep quite?

Q: I have a question that if the imam is making salaam and I have just started the dua which is read after the durud shareef (Alla humma inni zalamtu), so should I continue reading the dua or should I make Salaam with the Imaam?

Q: Can I perform Salaah with my wife if I miss jamaat? Will we get the sawab of jamaat.

Q: I perform most of my salaah with my family at home. The musjid is not very far away from where I live. Will I receive the reward of performing salaah with jamaat through making jamaat with my family at home?

Q: A person is late for fajr in the musjid. If he prays his two rakaats of sunnah, he will miss the congregational prayer, but will still have time to pray individually. What is most important: that he prays his Sunnah or that he prays in congregation?

Q: A person arrives late to the masjid and misses a number of rakats with the imam. When the imam says salam, he thus has a number of extra rakaat to make up. But he doesn't remember how many. In order to find out, may he pray slowly and see how many extra rakaats the people around him do, since they joined the prayer at the same time as him?
