Insurance money

Q: Can I use death insurance money for yard fences and toilets? Also poor Muslims or non-Muslims?

A: No. The amount paid to the insurance company can be regained and the extra amount should be given in charity to a poor Muslim or non Muslim without the intention of receiving any reward.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
