Ejaculating due to Fantasizing or Looking at Pornography whilst Fasting
Q: If a person whilst fasting ejaculates due to fantasizing or looking at pornography will his fast be nullified?
A: Whilst fasting just as it is impermissible to indulge in sexual activities similarly it is impermissible to fantasize about sexual activities. As far as looking at pornography is concerned it is totally prohibited in Sharee’at. Committing these major sins in the state of fasting destroys the reward of the fast completely. However, if a person ejaculates due to fantasizing or looking at pornography the fast will not break. (Fataawa Raheemiyyah vol.7 pg.262)
(أو احتلم أو أنزل بنظر) ولو إلى فرجها مرارا أو بفكر إن طال (در المختار ج2 ص396)
وإذا نظر إلى امرأة بشهوة في وجهها أو فرجها كرر النظر أو لا لايفطر إذا أنزل كذا في فتح القدير كذا لايفطر بالفكر إذا إمنى هكذا في السراج الوهاج (الفتاوى الهندية ج1 ص204)
(أو أنزل بنظر) إلى فرج امرأته لم يفسد (أو فكر وإن أدام النظر والفكر) حتى أنزل لأنه لم يوجد منه صورة الجماع وهو الإنزال عن مباشرة (مراقي الفلاح ص658)
