Performing salaah on the marble outside the Haram

Q: Can one join the saffs on the marble outside the actual Haram, considering the fact that there are huge gaps inbetween the saffs? 

A: If the saffs are in the musjid the namaaz will be valid.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
