Taking passport pictures for tableegh

Q: If television is haraam for tabligh because it contravenes shariah then going in tabligh using pictures for passport is in the same catogory as no compuslsion for applying for getting a visa is not waajib to go for tabligh.
A: The reasoning is incorrect. Travelling can be for multiple reasons; some very important, some less important. Overall, travelling overseas becomes practically impossible without a passport. In today's lifestyle it is practically impossible for people to live without travelling. Sometimes it is for business and sometimes to render assistance and help etc. whereas tableegh can be done without pictures, through tapes, cds, books, etc.
