Not joining family members in anything that amounts to the disobedience of Allah Ta'ala

Q: Please guide me specifically in matters and in which conditions we discontinue our relations with our close family members like parents, brothers, sisters, wife's relatives and even Muslim brothers and sisters. 

A: You will not join them in anything that amounts to the disobedience of Allah Ta`ala.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
