Not placing one's hands on the thighs during jalsah in salaah

Q:
1. If I came up from first sajdah without keeping my hand on my thigh and then go for the 2nd sajdah, does this affect my prayer?
2. If my knee raised a little after my first sajda, does this affect my prayer?
A: The salaah is valid. However, in the posture of jalsah, it is sunnah to place the hands on the thighs. In future you should perform salaah in conformity to the sunnah.
