Method of sajdah
Q: When I make sajdah, I am not satisfied and I push my head too hard. I want to know the correct way of making sajda. How much pressure is requried? Where exactly should the floor touch the nose and forehead? Anywhere or some precise position is required?
A: In sajdah, the forehead and nose will have to touch the ground. If the forehead is firmly placed on the ground, the sajdah will be valid.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
( وسجد بأنفه ) أي على ما صلب منه ( وجبهته ) حدها طولا من الصدغ إلى الصدغ وعرضا من أسفل الحاجبين إلى القحف ووضع أكثرها واجب وقيل فرض كبعضها وإن قل ( وكره اقتصاره ) في السجود ( على أحدهما ) ومنعا الاكتفاء بالأنف بلا عذر وإليه صح رجوعه وعليه الفتوى كما حررناه في شرح الملتقى (الدر المختار 1/ 498)
