Finding a pious spouse in this day and age
Q: It's really a tragedy to be born in this day and age. How should one find a pious Muslim man for marriage? Muslim men are disgusting nowadays.
Is it true that women pay for the sins committed by men of their family?
A: This notion is incorrect and has no basis. There is no need to lose hope or become despondent. One should understand that if one leads a pure and righteous life, one's intentions and actions conform to deen, one has a good opinion of Allah Ta'ala and has hope in His mercy, then Insha Allah, Allah Ta'ala will grant him/her a pious spouse.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
الْخَبِيثَاتُ لِلْخَبِيثِينَ وَالْخَبِيثُونَ لِلْخَبِيثَاتِ ۖ وَالطَّيِّبَاتُ لِلطَّيِّبِينَ وَالطَّيِّبُونَ لِلطَّيِّبَاتِ ۚ أُولَٰئِكَ مُبَرَّءُونَ مِمَّا يَقُولُونَ ۖ لَهُم مَّغْفِرَةٌ وَرِزْقٌ كَرِيمٌ (النور:26)
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال حسن الظن من حسن العبادة (الترغيب و الترهيب للمنذري، الرقم: 5128، و قال: رواه أبو داود وابن حبان في صحيحه واللفظ لهما والترمذي والحاكم ولفظهما قال إن حسن الظن من حسن عبادة الله)
