Reciting the Quraan Shareef on a phone while sitting behind a person
Q: If a person is sitting in the masjid in the 3rd or 4th saff with people sitting in front of him and he is sitting at the back of them, can he read Quraan on the mobile. Will it be dishonouring the Quraan as he is sitting at the back of person and reading Quraan on the mobile. It means the Quraan is at the back of a person.
Can one read Quraan in the Haram of Makkah when people are doing tawaaf, or sitting in front of a person, or will it be not correct?
A: No. However, it is better to recite the Quraan from the mushaf copy itself, not from the mobile. The Quraan Shareef must be given some form of exclusivity over all other books, information and literature. In reading it from the mobile, this exclusivity is omitted. It is just like reading any other book.
