Husband tolerating his characterless and unfaithful wife

Q: I want to inquire the rights of a husband if his wife is characterless and unfaithful?

A: The husband should daily conduct taleem of the Fazaail Aamaal and Fazaail Sadaqaat in his home with his wife and family and educate them in regard to deen. Apart from this, tilaawat of the Qur'aan Majeed, recitation of Durood Shareef and some zikr should also be made with the entire family. At the end, dua should also be made for the family and for the entire ummah.

It is hoped that through the husband being tolerant and forbearant with his wife, and educating her in deen, a deeni awareness will be created in her heart and she will co-operate with him in the marriage.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
