Women attending a nikaah at the masjid in the female section

Q: Are women allowed to attend a nikaah at the masjid in the female section?

A: No. When they are discouraged from attending the fardh salaah then how can they attend the musjid for a nikaah.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
