Husband taking leave from work to attend to his wife

Q: My wife will need to go to hospital for a heart bypass on the 23rd of October 2023. My problem is that I am working and do not have anyone to take care of her. Her brother and sister have opted for her to come stay with them until she recovers but the problem is that they are non-Muslims. Please help and suggest what must I do.
A: It will not be good and safe for her deen that she remains in the home of her non-Muslim brother and sister during the period of her recovery. You should speak to your family to assist you in this regard. If you are able to take leave from work to attend to her in your home, then this will be the best thing.
