Event planner setting up a birthday party

Q: I plan on becoming an event planner. If I am asked to do the setup for a birthday party,would that be allowed from an Islamic perspective.

A: You should avoid accepting such work as you will be promoting a custom of the kuffaar which goes against islamic teachings.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
