Touching impure clothes with wet hands

Q: If someone touches impure clothes with wet hands, but after touching it there is no trace of the impurity on his hands, will his hands still be regarded as impure?

A: If the impurity from the clothes came onto his wet hands, then his hands will be regarded as impure. However, if no impurity came onto his hands, then his hands will be regarded as pure.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
