Q: I have a helper whom I pay on a monthly basis. For 1 month I was not at home so she did not come to work. However I will still pay her wages at the end of the month. Is it permissible to pay these wages with interest money as she has not worked the whole month?
A: If the contract was that she is employed by you for that month, then it is not permissible for you to pay her with riba.
