Q: If a person has shaved his hair after doing first Umrah and he does another Umrah after one or two days, he doesn't have any hair or the hair is little, it has been mentioned in kitaab that he should use a blunt razor blade on top the head to come out of Ihram.
My question is that if a person can't find a blunt razor blade will it be permissible to use a hair trimmer on top of the head to come out of Ihram?
A: If there is no hair on the head at all (i.e. the hair did not begin growing as yet), then in this situation, one is required to resemble a person who cuts his hair by passing the blade over the entire head once. If one does not have a blade, then one should delay till one finds or purchases a blade.
However, if the hair has begun to grow and it is less than one finger joint, then in this case it is necessary to use a blade to remove all the hair. Using a hair trimmer will not suffice.
