A: If the job requires you to do any haraam action (e.g. carrying the haraam meat, liquor or pork, packing it on the shelves or scanning it and selling it to the customers, etc.) then such an employment is not permissible and the income will be impermissible. However, if you only work in a department where you are required to do halaal work, then it will be permissible for you to work in such a department and the income will be halaal.
