Applying the rules of tajweed when reciting duas

Q: Can I recite Inshallah, Mashallah, Alhamdulillah, Jazakallahu Khairan, Subhanallah, TabarakAllah, Allah, Allahu Akbar without following the rules of madd and ghunnah?

A: If you are able to recite these duas with the correct pronunciation, then this is sufficient. The rules of madd and ghunna do not apply to duas, but rather to the recitation of the Qur’aan Majeed.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
