Q: Is it permissible for one in the state of ihraam to kill a locust?
Q: Is it permissible for one in the state of ihraam to kill a locust?
Q: I am aware that when a male is in the state of ihraam, then it is necessary for him to leave the shoelace area of the feet uncovered. What about when he is sleeping in the state of ihraam? Can his feet be covered by the duvet or blanket?
Q: I went from my home in Jeddah for Umrah with the niyat after performing 2 rakaat nafil. At the checkpost I was stopped and the government didn’t let us do Umrah regardless of permit saying the state has issued new orders post magrib.
Now we came home back to Jeddah, trimed my hair and took off Ihram. I have lived the whole day today normally and even cut my nails.
Do we have to give Dam? We were forced to not perform our Umrah so it was the state rule and we had no way. We can’t give Dam in Makkah as they are only allowing Hajjis and this means we cannot visit Makkah before 50 days now and perform our Umrah. We cannot live in the state of Ihram for that long. Please guide.
Q: What is the penalty for pulling out hair by mistake in ihraam?
Q: A person got a penalty and he went back to his home country. Later he realized that he has to pay damm/fidya for his mistakes, but what if the person die before giving the penalty? Because he will have to wait to go back to Makkah for damm/fidya.
Q: On 8 Zul Hijjah in the state of ihram, while chatting with my wife, I sent my wife a kissing emoji with good night message in a mobile, as I usually send to my wife when we chat. I sent it to her just in a normal chatting way, not by lust, she was also in the state of ihram, but she was in next tent to me.
My question is, is there is damm of a badana? Or my hajj is complete or invalid?
Q: I heard that taking a bath before going to Arafat from Mina is Sunnah. So I took a bath with soap in the state of ihram. Also, I used that same soap on my head. Before taking a shower, I smelt the soap and i didnt feel any scented/perfume. Also, it didn't see anything mentioned on the soap cover about it being scented/perfumed. So after I returned to my home country, I noticed that it was scented/perfumed soap.
So my question is, is my Hajj Mabroor/accepted or not? Should I give sadaqa or damm? Is it possible if I give someone money to do damm/sadaqa in Makkah for me?
Q: I came from Pakistan for umrah and performed umrah successfully. Then we (my wife and I) went to Madinah Munawwarah and thought of doing another umrah. One night before I had a flu and pain in my body so we postponed the intention of umrah. We reached Makkah and then next day we performed umrah after going to masjid Ayesha. Someone said that whether you have the intention of umrah or not you should enter Meqaat in ihraam. Kindly help me in this regard as I have last 3 days in Makkah. If dam is waajib and we don't have that amount of money then what do we do?
Q: After umrah, my wife forgot to cut her hair, what should we do now?
Q: I went for hajj this year. I had to wear underpants under my ihram due to a medical reason which was approved by my doctor. During hajj I was told I have to pay a dum because I am not allowed to wear any other clothing apart from ihram, regardless of a medical condition. I wanted to know if this is true.
