Q: A lady goes for umrah puts on ihraam in haiz and will not be clean till her flight out of Makkah.
How will she come out of ihraam? What procedure should be followed?
A: The way for such a woman to come out of ihraam is that after she returns home, she should appoint someone in Makkah Mukarramah to slaughter a sheep or goat (which suffices for qurbaani) on her behalf in the precincts of the Haram with the intention of coming out of ihraam.
When the animal is slaughtered, she will come out of ihraam. She will have to make qadha of this umrah which she missed after entering into ihraam.
Note: After the animal is slaughtered, the meat should be distributed among the poor.
