Believing music to be a sin but it does not have any worldly harm

Q: Someone believes there's no worldly harm of listening to music as it has benefits scientifically, however they believe music is still a sin, and that this argument doesn't justify it nor renders the ruling mistaken. And that music is sin. Are they kaafir?

A: If one believes that music is haraam and that there is deeni harm in listening to music, he will not come out of the fold of Islam.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
