Q: I wanted to ask if listening to subliminals is permissible in Islam. If the intention is to use it as a positive affirmation like to boost confidence and motivation, especially while studying. I don't want to listen to music or anything haraam, so I was thinking of using subliminals with natural sounds, like rain, and without any audible words. Would this be okay from an Islamic perspective?
Q: Is it halaal to rap without music and just a duff in the background for keeping track of the rhythm?
Q: If many years ago (sometimes before bulugh and sometime after) if one used to make a CD for family members so they could use the CDs in their cars and the CDs would have nasheeds on them (mostly with music but not all), and if at least with one relative he used to try to get something out doing so i.e. being taken to a store to buy a magazine.
The way he made these CDs were by downloading a YouTube video to mp3 file (which YouTube would have been against) and then putting the mp3 file on a CD.
Now, would he have to find those naat and nasheed artists and owe/pay them any money, especially those artists who didn’t use music?
Q: If music makes me close to Allah, is it permissible?

Q: Music is haraam. Can I listen to songs which has no music in it but the vocals only or can I post it on Instagram without the music, only the vocals which doesn't have any impropriety lyrics?
Q: I am a student and need to present about a topic that later on contains information about old music and a piece of it for people to listen.. Is it permissible to present it or am I going to be sinful?
Q: Is there any hadith in which Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said that if a person dies while listening music then don't go to his or her funeral?

2. If there are no musical instruments used but rather the "mouth" is used to imitate the musical instruments. Is this permissible?
Q: I used to hear a song which had shirk and sing it publically. Now I repented but I have a doubt that when I sang it publically, whether the person beside me heard it and started singing it or maybe he didn't do it. I dont know if he did or did not, will it be shirk?
