Keeping the Quraan Shareef in one's room in a cupboard

Q: Is it okay to keep ones Quraan Shareef in ones room in a cupboard, that is while being careful to ensure ones feet will not be stretched towards it whilst sleeping.

A: Yes, it is permissible.
