Q: When having a function, for example a Walima, Aqeeqah or any Dawat, will the host get the rewards of feeding people and keeping family ties if there's no separation between men and woman at these gatherings and intermingling is taking place?
A: He will be sinful for mixing the males and females. It will be more rewarding not to have these types of dawats where the males and females are going to mix up.
