Q: Please advise the best dua for long life.
Also, will my wife be with me in jannat if we both are granted this joy by Allah Ta'ala?
A: The dua that has been prescribed in the hadith is as follows.
اللَّهُمَّ أَحْيِنِي مَا كانَتِ الحَيَاةُ خَيْراً لِي وَتَوَفَّنِي إِذَا كانَتِ الْوَفَاةُ خَيْراً لِي
O Allah, keep me alive as long as life is good for me and grant me death when death is better for me.
Make an effort to get to jannah. Once you reach jannah, you will be granted all that your heart desires.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
