Reciting Quraan in a room with images of animate beings

Q: Is it permissible to recite Quraan in a room with images of animate beings?

A: The pictures should be removed. It is not permissible to keep these haraam pictures in one's home. Similarly, it is disrespectful to recite the Quraan Majeed in a place where these pictures are found.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
