Looking after one's child in the musjid

Q: 

1. What age is it suitable to start introducing a boy to the masjid, by taking him now and again? 

2. What age is it suitable to regularly bring a boy to the masjid for every salah?

A: When he can take care of himself and he will not be a nuisance and disturbance to the musallees and environment to the musjid then he may be taken along. As a precaution, the elder should keep him next to himself. And perhaps at the time of salaah, the elder may stand at the rear saff near the children's saff and immediately after the fardh the child stands once again next to his elder.
