Q: My wife wants to make tawaf on the mataf and I don't want to because I need to wear the ihraam and go. I was told not to wear the ihraam and go because I will be lying that I am making Umrah and I wouldn't be making umrah. What must I do?
A: Yes, it is totally permissible. This is not regarded as deception in Shariah. Each person has an equal right to perform tawaaf on the mataaf and stopping people who are not in ihraam from entering the mataaf is not permissible.
