Q: Is it permissible to touch the cover of the Quraan without wudhu?
Is there a difference if it is attached or not?
A: If the cover of the Quraan Majeed is attached and joined to the Quraan Majeed, then it is not permissible for one to touch the cover without wudhu. However, if it is not attached e.g. a juzdaan in which the Quraan Majeed is kept, then it is permissible to touch it without wudhu.
