Q: A woman is in haidh/nifaas and wishes to read Munaajaate maqbool/40 durood and salaam. In the munaajaate maqbool on one side is Arabic and 1 side english and in the durood kitaab it's all Arabic.
1. Is it permissible for her to hold the corners of the page and read from the kitaabs?
2. If she's read before and mistakenly her fingers touched the arabic text, does she need to make taubah from this?
Sometimes when reading kitaabs, when turning pages fingers mistakenly touch Arabic/ Quraanic text due to not knowing what's coming on the next page. Sometimes also when not in haidh/ nifaas but not in a state of wudhu.
3. Should one make istighfaar/ taubah when this happens?
A: She can hold the side of the kitaab and she should not touch the verses of the Quraan Majeed written inside. If she touches the verses of the Quraan Majeed, then she should make taubah.
