Q: In England, if there is a butcher shop that sells meat and the workers are Muslim and they say that the meat is Halaal, but it is not HMC certified, can you buy and eat the meat from this shop?
A: If the meat is not slaughtered by a Muslim according to the sharee method of slaughter, the meat will not be halaal. If you are not sure or you are in doubt regarding the meat, then refrain from purchasing from that butcher shop.
