Woman specifying her entire home as her place of itikaaf

Q: I was told that a female who wants to make itikaaf at home should allocate a specific area of her home and make itikaaf there. If she is living in a 2 bedroom apartment, can she specify the entire area of her apartment as her place of itikaaf? Can she also do this for her entire house if she is living in a big home?

A: She cannot specify the entire house as the place of itikaaf if the house is big and has many rooms.
