Muqeem reading qasr salaah thinking he was a musaafir

Q: If one thought he was musaafir and read 2 rakaats for his namaaz, but after that he found out that he was not a musaafir. What must one do? Does he repeat his namaaz?

A: If he was not a musaafir, then he needed to perform four rakaats. Since he only performed two rakaats, the fardh did not take place. He will have to repeat his fardh as four rakaats. If the time has elapsed, he will have to perform it as qadha.
