Q: Is it permissible to read salaah on the mataaf in jamaat, as this is technically reading in front of the imam? Previously the imaams would perform on the mataaf/hateem, but not anymore.
A: If you are not facing the side of the Ka'bah that the imaam is facing then your salaah is valid.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
