Q: My friend was telling a story of a time when he was defending his sister against another person who was a non Muslim trying to attack her and he beat him up. Is what he did correct?
A: If the person was making zulm upon his sister, then it was permissible for him to defend her in whichever way he could.
And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best.
