Returning to Jeddah to fetch one's luggage after performing umrah

Q: I went for umrah, landed in Jeddah and my bags didn't come so we proceeded to Makkah, performed umrah and then a message came that our bags are in Jeddah airport. So I took a taxi from Makkah to Jeddah to fetch my bags. 

When re-entering Makkah, do I have to do another umrah or not?

A: Jeddah is within the meeqaat, therefore you do not have to do another umrah when you come from Makkah Mukarramah to Jeddah and then return to Makkah Mukarramah (unless you intend to do umrah when returning to Makkah Mukarramah).
