Meaning of the Hadith "Allah will say to every Muslim, Jew or Christian - that is your rescue from Hell-Fire"

Q: Sahih Muslim 2767a - Abu Musa' (radhiyallahu anhu) reported that Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) said:

When it will be the Day of Resurrection Allah would deliver to every Muslim a Jew or a Christian and say: That is your rescue from Hell-Fire.

According to this hadith, a Jew or Christian will be our rescue from hell fire. I know that they will take our place in hell, but why did Allah said they are our rescue from hell? Is that the real wording? Because the non-muslim take this verse literally.

Printing personal work using the office printer

Q: I used to print my personal stuff from the office printer as everyone else also did. It is okay to print some amount but I took it too far and printed too much and now I feel guilty. Can I ask my boss if I can print personal things but actually the permission is for things I previously printed or should I confess? I also did this in my previous job. I want to repent properly.

Girls side having a function after the nikaah

Q: My nikaah is to be next week Insha'Allah. I have requested multiple times to not have a function and have it the sunnah way. However my parents are not agreeing and when I try and explain I'm labelled as being disobedient to them, ungrateful and selfish. Both my in laws to be and my parents are saying that you have to compromise for society. This is however not the case, I only wanted to have it in a way that Allah and His Rasul (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) would be pleased.

Out of respect for my in laws and my parents I have now kept quiet. Please advise as to what is the right thing to do.
