Q: I have found a pious partner الحمد لله, Shukr for the duah Mufti it has proven effective. This lady with whom I am happy to be married. I have already proposed and she has said yes... الله أكبر Now, What am I to do Mufti? I surely have to spend some time with her to get to know her ... (going out with her and maybe having lunch with her?) I have noted this as she has grown fond of me during the little time I have spent with her. How should I go about acquainting myself with her so we can get to know one another better? Within a legal framework.

Q: We are Hanafi and I want to know about steam-bath with mahrams. My physician strictly advise me to take steam-bath 20 minutes regularly. Today I joined the gym with my brother for steam-bath. In my mind that I will sit in steam-room in complete dress with my brother but the instructor told us that we have to sit with wrapped towel (from chest to knee). Today I wrapped the towel and sit at steam-room with my brother. During steam-bath I was thinking about "Is this permissible in Islam?" that wearing towel from chest to knee in front of brother in steam-room. So when I reached home I was searching about this ARWAH/SATAR of women in front of Mahrams. from many Islamic sites I found the material about the ARWAH of women in front of Mahrams. On those site it was written that "ARWAH OF WOMEN IN FRONT OF MAHRAMS FROM NAVAL TO KNEE". If the mahrams see their woman other parts like face, hands, feet, hair and chest, these parts are not HARAM or there is no sin in this case It want to ask it is true and can I go to steam-bath with my brother? Because it is necessary for me or if it is wrong then I will leave the gym. I waiting for your positive answer.

Q: Can I use self improvement tools like Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) and Emotional Freedom Technique(EFT) to improve myself and remove anxiety, depression, negative thoughts etc, these tools are they halal in islam?  I think they are based upon eastern philosophy and psychology. They are not scientifically proven to work but a lot of people use them, I used them they seem to work. You can find more about them by using google search.

1) Would be I sinful if I use these tools.

2) Some might say if you use them tools you'll be committing shirk, what if I think this way that Allah has sent these tools and I believe He is cureing me by using these tools.

Q: If in "Ihdeenas-Siratal-Mustaqeem", I recited dee with a daad mistakenly instead of daal does this invalidate the namaz? I don't know for sure if I done it, but it seems likely so should I repeat the namaz or is it an acceptable mistake? I didn't repeat it afterwards.

Q: I am a sunni girl Alhamdulillah. Fortunately or unfortunately I like a shiaa boy. For a long time I was unaware about the major differences between shiaa sunni. Now when I have come to know I am confused ....very confused. We both have already committed to each other about getting married. Now Sir ... I want your help. Can you please tell me is it not halal for a sunni to marry a shiaa? And what is the reason if it is haraam? After all Shiaa's do also believe in Allah and read the same kalima. Awaiting your answer.

Q: A woman is less than 15 days in a town and makes qasar, then she gets her haidh and then travels to another town. Here also she will be less than 15 days. When she becomes clean here must she make qasar or itmaam?

Q: I am married and I had a argument with my wife. Whilst arguing one thing I said to her whilst in anger was “I will give you divorce” My intention
was that I would consider a talaaq not give a talaaq. We carried on arguing and I kept telling her to be quiet and speak to me slowly. She did not and this made me very angry and in that situation I said "I give you I give you one" realising that what I was about to say could break our marriage I stopped short of saying anything else. I did not mention the Talaaq  word when I said “I give you” as I realised what it would mean I had given divorce. It was not my intention to give talaaq, my intention was to stop the argument. I have been told that I have used kinayah words and because I had realised what it would mean if I had said the Talaq word and I stopped short of saying the actual word and I did not have intention of divorce, the Talaq has not taken place. Can you please confirm that what I have understood is correct. Please note I follow the Hanafi school of thought.
