Calculating safar distance from the boundary of one's town

Q: Please advise on the following with regards to qasr salaat. I reside in the Phoenix area and go visit my in laws in Umzinto which is about 90km from Phoenix.

Phoenix is in the Ethekwini (Durban) municipality which extends from Tongaat in the north to Umkomaas in the South and to Camperdown in the West. Where do I count the boundary, from the town of Phoenix or from the Ethekwini municipal boundary? Umkomaas to Umzinto is about 20km but it is about 70km from Phoenix. Please advise.

Correct spelling of the name Aasiyah

Q: We have named our daughter Aasiyah after the beautiful personality af Aasiyah (radhiyallahu anha). However, recently my grandmother called me to tell me that she heard a mufti on the radio saying that the name means sinner. I did a bit of research and did find a hadeeth in Muslim regarding the name 'Aasiyah, however it was spelled with an 'ain and our daughters name is spelled with an alif. Please give clarity on the matter as it is causing great stress.

Taking pictures of women in hijaab to promote hijaab

Q: I have started an online hijab business and want to promote the hijab. Would it be permissible to have women wearing my hijab on my hijab website? They will be fully covered with no awrah showing and they will not beautify themselves for the pictures. With this business I would also like to influence young women to wear the hijab and talk about Islam and my journey again, I will be fully covered and will not beautify myself for the videos. Will this be permissible? My intentions are to promote the hijab not to promote beauty which is why they will be fully covered and wearing the hijab properly.

Saahib-e-tarteeb forgetting to make qadha

Q: A person who is a saahib-e-tarteeb misses his Fajr and Dhuhr Salaah.

1. After he prays his Asr prayer, he remembers that he has not prayed Fajr and Dhuhr. Does he have to repeat Asr after praying the qadha of Fajr and Dhuhr?

2. He forgets to pray his previous day's qadha Fajr and Dhuhr and only remembers the next day after he has prayed his next day's Fajr sunnah. Should he now pray his qadha first, or pray the next day's Fajr fardh and then pray his qadha?
