Fulfilling the rights of one's wife after a secret nikaah

Q: A grown-up man has the financial ability to maintain his wife and family and he is eager to marry. But his parents want him to marry later after being more established. Then the man married a grown-up lady without informing his parents. the man earns enough money to maintain his wife. But now he and his wife are living separately because of his parents. His wife is very sad for this condition. In this situation what should the man do? Should he continue living like that apart from his wife? If he wants to live with his wife maybe he will have to leave the house of his parents and live separate from them.

Withdrawing from a mandatory provident fund

Q: I am working in a company where we have a provident fund facility. I wanted to take some amount from my PF Account. In case of temporary withdrawal, the company will charge a certain % as loss of interest. Can I borrow this amount from my PF account? The purpose of borrowing is making investing in some areas.

Secondly, the company always gives interest on our PF balance on annual basis so would it be jaiz for us since this activity of fund and participating in fund is mandatory. The decision of investing PF fund is also with trustees of fund and not with us.

Authenticity regarding tasbeeh to recite after jumuah salaah

Q: What is the status of the following Hadith narrated by Ibnus Sunni in book; Amalul yawm wal laylah:

Whoever recites the following 100 times after Jumu’ah Salaah on a Friday; subhanallaahil azeemi wa bi hamdihi ( سبحان الله العظیم و بحمدہ ) Rasulullah (sallalhu ‘alayhi wasallam) has said the reciter’s 100,000 sins will be forgiven and in addition 24,000 of his/her parents’ sins will also be forgiven.

Using dead fish as bait and sport fishing

Q:

1. Are we allowed to use real dead fish as bait when fishing? Meaning, not the rubber bait, bait like sardines, etc.

2. Are we also allowed to catch and release fish?

3. If 'no' for the above question, the law says that certain fish must be a certain length and they should not be endangered, etc. and if they don't meet those requirements they must be released, or else you can get fined if caught. So if the answer is 'no' for question 2 then what should we do. Will we be sinful if we release the fish once we caught it, because you don't really know what size fish and species you catching until you caught it.

Changing one's mazhab

Q:

1. Is it permissible to change and switch between mazhabs more then once? For example, for one to say he's a Hanafi but then decides to become a Shaafi and then become a Hanafi again.

2. Is it permissible for one to adopt a different mazhab because of need. For example, for a Shaafi to become a Hanafi while they are performing tawaaf so if any female has to touch them by mistake their wudhu won't break?

Practicing homeopathy

Q: I am a homoeopathic doctor and am planning to start my practice insha-Allah. However, I was reading something about Reiki and read that it is not allowed due to having shirk elements.

Now I have started wondering if homoeopathy has any haraam aspect of shirk. I haven’t come across any one who can do research and tell me. Homoeopathy has a concept of vital force in the body which is an energy. And the medicine has energy which acts on that force is the theory. I am fully of the idea that shifa comes from Allah alone. I want to help people and do my bit in helping others. Homoeopathy medicine works very well and I have experienced it for the last 6 years. However, I just want to know if it is allowed to practice it.

Helping a child overcome anger issues

Q: There is a seven year old girl in our family who has anger issues. When she is angry or upset about something she tends to scream and throw things and forgets whether she is talking to an adult, or other older family members or friends or whether she is in a public place. Its impossible to reason with her then. Also, she gets angry without any reason at times and switches very quickly from happy to angry and vice versa.

Please tell what should we do and what should we recite so that she calms down and becomes less angry and stubborn over time.

Seeing brown discharge after haidh

Q: I have a question regarding haidh

1. I get a brown discharge all the time sometimes it's light sometimes dark. So because of this, as soon as 15 days are up since my last haidh and I see this brown discharge I start counting it as my haidh even if I'm not bleeding but I was told I'm counting wrong I must count it 20 clean days and 10 napaak days because I never had a completely clean 15 days without spotting. As far as I can remember I always had discharges in my clean days. How am I supposed to count my days?

2. If I have to count it 20 clean days then to get my days right by re counting the easiest will be from after my baby wa born, that was 20 August 2019. She was born and I had a 40 day nifaas because I was discharging till the end and even after the 40 days were up I was discharging. How should I re count my days?

3. I don't get a yellow discharge all the time, it's occasionally. Does it count as a starting of a haidh if I get only a yellow discharge and during my haidh days if I get only yellow does it count as haidh?
