Not disclosing information due to fear of envy

Q: Not disclosing information due to fear of envy. Is it okay to avoid a question or not answer it truthfully out of fear of envy and jealousy?

During my last pregnancy, I shared the good news openly with my immediate family, not thinking that they would be jealous. I went through quite a few problems after. Since then I have come to realise through experience that some of my family are very envious especially my sister in law. This time I don’t feel right to share any good news with them at all. I can see from their facial expressions and actions that they do not rejoice in my happiness so now that I have gotten good news Alhamdulillah I feel like keeping it discreet.

I am confused and need to know if this is even okay. I don’t want to displease Allah by lying. Allah is The Protecter, but at the same time I don’t know if I should keep this news to myself, as I have read it in a Hadith. Please advise me as to what is the best approach Islamically.

Taking advance rent before renting out an apartment

Q: I am going to rent my apartment. Someone handling the property told me that the tenant will give 2 months advance rent and security deposit.

1. Is it permissible to take the rent of one or two months in advance?

2. Is it permissible to take a security deposit?

3. Is it permissible to rent my apartment through this man or I should do the deal myself?

4. I have never seen the apartment, possession is not yet given to me, but I have paid the full amount during construction. Is all this fine?

Inheritance

Q: My sister lost her husband and she has two kids viz 7 ear old son and 11 year daughter. The husband left behind his business and two buildings; one residential and one commercial where the business is running. However, these two buildings have been orally given to him by his father. There is no written proof of transfer. The father of the deceased is alive and has huge property. He has another son who has some psychological problem hence unable to make any decision.

We have temporarily transferred the business in the name of the children under the guardianship of the mother so that no one can cause any harm to the business.

My question is how will the law of inheritance apply in this case?
