Recipients of Zakaat

Q: Can we use zakaat money to buy an ambulance and use it for people in poverty, free of charge? We have a foundation for doing such activities. 

Q: I would like to know if paying zakaat through the following service is permissible: http://nzf.org.au 

Q: Can I pay my zakaat to help poor people have a tube well (for drinking water), build a house for them or help a father to do necessary expenses for his daughter's marriage. 

Q: Is it permissible for a sister to pay zakaat to her brother who is 25 years old, not working and not married but living with his mom and dad. However, the father is very strict and does take care of his basic needs like food and shelter?

Q: I have a friend who is very poor. He lives in a small house on rent and has a motor cycle in his possession. His mother got admitted to hospital and her treatment is quite expensive which my friend can't afford out of his own pocket. My question is, can I give him Zakat for the treatment of his mother.

Q: Can my baligh daughter who is not married and is supported by me as I'm divorced and not working, be a recipient of zakat from my savings which are the only means of survival for myself and hers. Can I pay zakat to her for her university if I am to pay?

Q: Can a person give his zakat to a woman whose husband earns well but he does not give money to his wife? 

Q: I have a partner who has debts that needs to be paid off, instead of me giving my zakaat away to someone needy, could I give him that money to help him pay his debts?

Q: I have some labourers working in my warehouse. They are poor people and most of the time they are unable to make ends meet. They own small houses. Can I give them zakaat?

Q: A maid recently started coming to our house. Apparently she seems needy. I have asked her about her possessions and she says that she doesn't have any gold/silver and neither do they have any saving. Can I give her zakat? I can not go and investigate myself, will it be sufficient to rely on what she says?
