Azaan and Iqaamah

Q: During periods (menses), is it permissible to answer the Azaan? And do we offer the wasila afterwards?

Q: There are 6-7 masjids in our area from where we easily hear the azan. One thing that is bothering is that as soon as muazzin of masjid 'A' starts calling azan, the dogs of this locality start barking. It happens 5 times a day, and only when muazzin of masjid 'A' calls azan. If muazzan is not there and some other person comes to masjid 'A' to call azan, then dogs do not bark. some people of locality say that this muazzan should be changed, others say these dogs must be thrown away. What could be the correct thing to do?

Q: A person mistakenly gave azaan in the left ear of the child and iqaamah in the right ear. He has only realized his mistake now, after five years have passed. What should be done in this situation.

Q: Are we supposed to repeat the words of Mu'azzin while he is doing azaan?

Q: Can I listen to  adhan anytime or only at salaah time? I was listening to the adhan and my wife said it's strictly forbidden to say or play adhan other than at the time of salaah. And further she said one earns Allah's laana by playing or reciting adhan other than at the salaah time.

Q: Is it permissible for a person who gave the iqaamah to lead the congregation as an Imam?

Q: Whose duty/responsibility is it to give the iqaamah?
