Q: If you travelling for Umrah and spend 7 days in Madinah and 7 days in Makkah are you a Musafir? Do you perform qasr salaat when on route and
performing alone. I understand you will follow the Imaam when in the Masjid. Do you have to perform the Sunnat of the salaat?

Q:

1. Does one start performing Qasr Salah once they leave their home intending to travel more than 48 miles even though they may not have left the boundary of their city or town?
2. Suppose one is at the airport in one's own city intending to fly abroad. Would such a person perform Qasr Salah?
3. If Qasr Salah can only be performed outside the boundary of the city, how does one work out what the boundary of the city is?
4. Is the 48 miles limit from door-to-door or from one city boundary to another city's boundary. If it is from one city's boundary to another city's boundary how does one go about ascertaining city boundaries?
5. To become a musafir is it once 48 miles is reached or does it have to be more than 48 miles?

Q: How many rakaats for magrib during qasar? Is it 2 or 3 rakaats?

Q: My brother is currently in India and had intended to be there for three weeks. His whole time will be spent in Mumbai only and will not travel
anywhere else. He has been there for the past week and has been performing qasr. He realised today that he will be staying for more then 15 days and therefore is not entitled for qasr. What should he do for the salaat of the past week that he performed as qasr whereas he was not supposed to?

Q: My question is regarding a woman in haidh. If a woman is in haidh and she is going to travel, will the conditions of salaah apply to her? When she reaches her destination, and she becomes tahirah, will she read qasr salaah or she will first have to travel a safr distance from there in order to read qasr or will she have to count the number of days she will be staying there from the day she becomes pure inorder to read qasr? Kindly send me the reference as well.

Q: My question is that if a person has two wives in Pakistan and he travels with one of them to Denmark for thirty five days where he is with her 20 days and went 15 days alone to Germany. When they come back to Pakistan, how many nights he should be with his other wife which he left in Pakistan. All 35 nights or 20 nights?

Q: I would like to take my niece and nephew on a trip overseas. Both are not baaligh. Is this permissable?

Q: My office is 75-80 KM from home. Where can I offer Kasar Prayer at home, office or not anywhere?

Q: A musaafir joined a muqeem imam in a 4 rakaat salaah. His wudhu broke, so he had to leave. So when he repeats the salaah must he read 2 rakaats qasr or should he perform full 4 rakaats?

Q: A woman is less than 15 days in a town and makes qasar, then she gets her haidh and then travels to another town. Here also she will be less than 15 days. When she becomes clean here must she make qasar or itmaam?
