Q: Me and my wife to be along with my parents and her parents sat together to confirm our marriage proposal. Both parents asked us both if we are happy with each to get married and we both replied saying yes we are. Is our nikkah done and can we speak to each other now.

Q: I have a question regarding the validity of my friends nikah. My friends uncle touched my friend with lust when she was almost 10 or 12 years old. Afterwards he didnt do such things with her. At the time of nikah, my freind chose her uncle as the wali or as we say, the wakeel of the nikah from her side. Now she has four children and she is worried if her nikah is valid or not.
Q: Im not very well learned, I just know basics. I would like to know if it is permissible for a Muslim woman to marry a christian man first in court then a while after the man will embrace Islam then get married via shariah? I would appreciate if you can explain in depth if possible so that I can relay your message to the parties involved the proper way.
Q: My nikaah was performed in the presence of two witnesses. None of them were my wali. And there was no maulana. The man who performed our nikaah was NOT a maulana. There was no legal paperwork done. We did not sign any paper at all. It was only verbal. Mahr was set at a decided amount. He read the khutba and ayat of nikaah from a book of duas and asked both of us three times, taking our names with our parents names and the witnesses names with their parents names if we accept each other in nikaah. We agreed all three times. Is the nikaah valid?
Q: I married a man in october 2013. We had some ups and down but Alhumdolillah we managed. Our nikah was not in knowledge of our parents. He was trying to explain his parents but his parents were asking for a Sayed girl as he is from a Sayed family. By that time my parents decided my marriage somewhere so I asked him to divorce me.
Now on 18th october 2016 he gave me one talaq but that time I didnt want to leave him and he too was not willing to leave me. After that we were in touch during my iddah as we couldn't control our desires. We used to have foreplay every other day and we had sex in December which was before my completion of my iddah.
Now I married other guy on 1st january 2017. I made sexual relationship with him too but it was during my menstual cycle but since 21st january, I am in UK and new guy is in Pakistan. My father knew about my first marriage but he didn't stop me from the second marriage. Now I got doubt that was my iddah of first marriage completed? Is my second marriage valid in islam? After having sex with my husband during my iddah period is our marriage reconciled? I don't want to go on path of sin.
Q: I'm from India. 11 years ago my sister loved a Muslim boy who was 2 years younger to her and was a student. When this was disclosed in front of my parents, they asked her to stop all this in every possible way, that is by explaining her the difficulties she will face by marrying that boy, by telling her that if this matter will come out they will loose their respect in the society, by scolding her, by keeping an eye on her, even by beating her. But she and that boy didn't understand as they loved each other madly. Then my sister ran away with that boy and they conducted nikah in front of qazi, a non Muslim boy and a Muslim boy for whom we have doubt that he was of less than 18 years of age (Allah knows the best). No wali was present. Then my parents begged her to come back and they will marry her off with that boy in front of the society. When she and that boy came back, the boy's family said that they will not marry their son to my sister. Our father took us to Saudi Arabia, there he threatened my sister to forget that boy and live peacefully as someone told him that, that nikah was not valid as it was conducted without wali and the witnesses were not fulfilling the Islamic standard. Now everyone thought that, that nikah was invalid including my sister, so we didn't ask for talaq from that boy. After 2 years my sister got married to a nice man with her consent. She is having two kids with that marriage. That man don't know about my sister's past. It's been 9 years now. They are happily married.
Now we are in a big confusion that the previous nikah was valid or not? Is the present nikah and kids valid for her? Is a nikah conducted without wali considered as valid? We did not ask any mufti earlier as we thought that a nikah without wali is invalid. If this is not so then this another marriage has been conducted due to lack of proper knowledge. What is the ruling regarding this matter. Please help us.
