Q: I have two brothers and a sister and there is inheritance from my mums house to be distributed. My mother mentioned before passing away that we split the inheritance equally. If we all decide to split the inheritance equally is this fine or do we have to do it according to Sharia where my sister gets 1 third and each of us 2.

Q: My father passed away leaving behing 50lac pakistani rupees. Can you please guide how it will be distributed among the heirs as per their share.

How we distributed this wealth was:

1 widow = 625,000

Each daughter = 546,875

Each son = 1,093,750

Kindly guide how we distributed is correct or not?

Q: My father passed away some years ago. At the time of his passing the house belonged to him. At that time two of my siblings were unmarried and living with my parents. A family member advised to sell the house and distribute the proceeds according to shariah. We did not do this at the time due to my mother and two siblings still living in the house. So to avoid any complications we all agreed to give my mother the house and put it on her name. Was this the correct procedure?

My siblings living in the house looked after and maintained the house up to now. Now my one sibling got married and has moved out and the other is about to be married. He would like to now sell the house and purchase another house in another area. This new house will be on my mothers name but my sibling who is getting married will live with my mother there. Is this the correct procedure or should my fathers house be sold and each person be given their share of the inheritance?

Please advise me how the shares must be divided Islamically.

Q: A woman has no parents, children or husband. She has 1 sister and 2 brothers and how will esteate be divided.

Q: We are 3 sisters and 2 brothers. 1 brother is married and has three children, 1 boy 2 girls. My father has a house which was built with 4 lakhs 14 years ago. Now we want to give everyone his shares in the property. My parents are alive and my sister in law is alive. My parents do not have sibilings.

Q: My six months old son passed away during his fifth surgery at the operation bed. I donated his medical equipment to the hospital and friends who were doctors to use them. But his clothes, feeders and cot, etc. are kept safe for future use. Do I need to distribute them in wirasat also? Is there wirasat of such children who pass away at an early age?

Q: I am involved in making da'wah to non-Muslims to enter Islam. If somebody accepts Islam due to my da'wah and says the shahadah to me, may I ask him to make me his "mawlah" so that I can inherit from him? Or can this concept of "mawlah" not be used in our modern times?

Q: My husband died 2 years before and I have 2 very young age twins boys. I have nothing except my orphans. My in-laws are holding all my properties and telling everyone that they will return his properties after my boys adult hood when my boys will be independent. My question is what Islamic rules about widow who works very hard to raise her orphans empty handed. My in-laws don't do anything except backbiting and false accusations. They don't help us except hurting me. What Islam rules about my condition? My husband helped them a lot and made them rich and he didn't get anytime to do something for his wife and children because he died very early aged. My husband was very good Muslim and he died with cancer in 2015. What does Islam say? What about chapter 4, Surah Nisa? Please advise me.
