Working from another country

Q: A person is employed in a company based in Australia. This company does not require them to work at the company office but allows them to work from home (it is an IT based job). Ever since they have been employed with this company they have not had to come into the office. Now, can this person continue working with this company after moving overseas without informing his employer that he is not longer physically in Australia?

Becoming an estate agent

Q: Can I be an estate agent? These are some of the things this job may entail, however, I’m a junior so my tasks may increase as I get more experienced:

• First point of customer contact

• Providing customer information about services and fees

• Discussing features and benefits of the service with customers

• Generating sales memos

• Ensuring documents are sent to relevant parties

• Creating and updating files

• Checking references

Paying a fixed rate for electricity

Q: Is it permissible to enter into a fixed plan with ones energy supplier? By fixed plan I mean entering into a contract to pay a fixed price per kWh for any gas/electricity used during the coming year. The alternative is to remain on a variable plan, which means that the price of the gas/electricity fluctuates depending on market prices.
