Disposing of interest money
Q: Are we allowed to give interest money from the bank to needy Muslims? Or is it better to give to non-muslims only?

Q: I have an amount in a savings account and I am getting interest for it. Is it Haraam? I never used it but whenever I receive interest, I used to give
it to poor people what ever I received. Is it accepted in Islam? Will there be any benefit? Is it haraam for the poor people whoever receives interest amount from us?

Q: I have an account with absa and one with Standardbank. I receive interest from one account because of excess funds and from time to time I am charged interest from the the other bank. For example, this past few months, I received interest of R500 from Absa but I was charged to pay interest to Standard bank to an amount of R600. My question is: Can I offset it from the interest that I was given by another bank?

Below words from Quran says forever. Trade is like usury, but Allah hath permitted trade and forbidden usury. Those who after receiving direction from their Lord, desist, shall be pardoned for the past; their case is for Allah (to judge); but those who repeat (the offence) are companions of the Fire: they will abide therein (for ever). I thought only thing will put you in hellfire forever is shirk.
Q: Can interest money be used to pay exorbitant rates on your property? Or can they be used to pay high bank charges? Can they also be used to pay tax or toll road charges?
Q: I am running a small Madrasah and its in a rented house. There are 2 toilets but they are high pan and we would like to change one into low pan and Alhamdulillah the owner of the house has given permission for this but the question is can we use Interest money for this? Changing high pan to low pan.
Q: Can Interest money be used to pay unjust fines, e.g. Tax, border fines for paperwork mistakes! I’m not saying on speeding fines? But on those things that we know are unjust!
